2/2018 UPDATE: Third time's a charm! Poor little Priscilla has experienced a lot of loss in her life, but she has been given a third chance at love with King Pigeon Sebastian. They are happily married and enjoy taking turns sitting on fake eggs together. Now the only thing she needs is a loving forever home. Please consider adopting Priscilla and Sebastian so they can enjoy the rest of their lives together in your loving home!
6/4/17 UPDATE: Loving & loyal Priscilla's mate Elvis passed away after a recurring battle with a persistent respiratory infection. She's being very brave. I'm sure she misses him terribly.
UPDATE: I have a new name and a new mate and a new life and I feel much happier. We are a closely bonded couple and we prefer a simple, uncomplicated life. We'd do great as members of a small, peaceful flock and, like our famous namesakes, we'd bring some star power to the setting.
UPDATE: I am all grown up and, unfortunately, a widow pigeon. I miss my mate and have been recovering slowly from his tragic death. I am being courted by a new bachelor and will perhaps remarry one of these days.
Hello! My name is Rex and I'm an adolescent king pigeon. First I was at the SFACC shelter but, on 2/8, when I was only 6 weeks old, I ran out of time and MickaCoo was too full to take me in. Lucky for me the Marin Humane Society took me and I did pretty well there with all the grown up king pigeons but eventually I ended up with a cold and then MickaCoo brought me into foster care on 4/11. (They're still full. Yikes!) Anyways, now I'm doing fine. They don't know if I'm male or female and I'm not telling for the moment. I'm a beautiful, all white, flighted king. I'm looking for a great forever home. You can see more pictures of me (including my baby pictures) and read all about king pigeons at Thank you! JULY 2010 UPDATE: I'm a married lady pij now, mated to an unreleasable feral pij named Sam. We're a very handsome couple, don't you think? Please apply to adopt /birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
