My story

　　The fairest of them all!Hi, there! My name is Princess Fiona. I’m a cute, cuddly girl who truly deserves to be treated like royalty! I’m a 3-year-old, 38-pound, Shepherd mix. I take twice-daily seizure medication (perhaps to stop me from turning into an ogre at sundown?), but with the pills, I’m a happy little girl! They make me pretty mellow and of course, always lovable. I’m spayed, too! I was recently rescued from Tijuana with Shrek, Donkey, and the gang. Now all I need is a castle, ahem, I mean... a home to call my own!I’m a polite princess who gets along with everyone I meet. I can get a little nervous around male dogs, but never aggressive! I’m not a fan of the arch-enemy… cats. What can I say, I’m a loyal dog through and through! I get random bursts of energy and I love to play. I like chasing after the ball and playing with my toys! Sometimes I confuse your hand for a toy but can be easily redirected. I haven’t had much experience with kiddos, but I’m guessing I’d do well with older ones! When I’m not playing around, I also love being a socialite, accompanying you to farmer’s markets, on beach walks, and wherever life takes you.Even though I can be active, I’m a pretty mellow gal. I’m a big fan of my beauty rest… you never know when Prince Charming might arrive! I also enjoy sniffing around the yard and keeping myself preoccupied. I’m great at matching your energy and knowing when it’s playtime or cuddle time. Speaking of which, I’m a super snuggly girl who loves to let you know how much I appreciate you!I’m house, bathroom, and leash trained— check, check, and check! I do not like being confined to small spaces and get very nervous in the crate. However, since I’m trained, there’s really no need for it! I get a little sad when you leave, but I settle down pretty quickly. I also like showing off my tricks: sit, down, and shake. I’d love to learn even more with you!Since I’m such an easy-going girl, I’d do well in a variety of furever homes. I would love a yard, but would be fine in a smaller space as long as we get out for plenty of walks! I don’t need an overly active household, short hikes and beach walks are just fine by me. My medicine makes me pretty chill, so a mellow home would be preferable. If you love cuddles, and lots of cuteness, I’m the princess for you! What are you waiting for?
