Preston's story

　　Preston could be that dream come true pup for retirees or an adult family who love spending their time with a cottony-soft and very sweet best friend. When morning comes, Preston is the perfect companion for a long walk or hike enjoying the beauty of the day. After this fun outdoor adventure, Preston loves to be close...maybe hanging out quietly in a home office while enjoying his favorite toy (a fun game of tug is greatly appreciated by this playful guy). Preston is just an all-around great dog who is thrilled to be with his favorite people.

　　Preston is such a great dog for anyone who is searching for a guy who's extremely lovable, snuggly and a great full-time companion. At 9 - 12 months old..he's such a great age - old enough to be past any babyish behavior and young enough to have many, many active and healthy years ahead. Preston is such a great size at 15 lbs...he has the ability to participate in long hikes or other outdoor adventures. And then, Preston would love nothing more then to just chill on the couch or bed, close beside his favorite people.

　　Farfel's is very committed to placing Preston with a family that derives great joy from showering a beautiful and sweet dog with nothing but love and kindness. Once comfortable, Preston loves playing and accompanying his people on car rides (so much fun!) and all adventures where a very sweet, smaller dog is welcome. Preston is entertaining in his antics, young energy and the huge love that lives inside just waiting to blossom.

　　Preston would do great with a person or people who are invested in spending time with their pup. Sometimes when life gets lonely, Preston will always be there to cuddle and stay close. He's happy to share a bed or couch at any time..he's just a natural-born snuggler. We aren't open to a home where everyone spends their days working full-time outside of the home....we'd like Preston to get more time and attention than is possible with that lifestyle.

　　Preston appears to be a non-shedding (or very light shedding) guy...although it's difficult to tell for certain until his sad shelter hair grows out. Preston will require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition (a salmon oil supplement is a great lifelong choice for longevity and coat care) to keep his hair healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free.

　　Preston has been vetted, up to date on vaccinations and neutered. This protocol is in line with our commitment to adopting out healthy dogs and our ongoing efforts to pursue zero population growth.

　　Preston will be arriving on transport in Denver in late May to early June (we'll update when the transport date is finalized).
