Preston Benny's story

　　Preston Benny is all heart. He would love to think of himself as a lap dog. Thoroughly enjoys squeaky toys, chew toys, and a good game of fetch. He would be fine as an only pet, but because he hasnt met a dog he doesnt like, he would be a great brother to another pup as well. Because he likes to play, a dog similar in size & age would be best. Walks wonderfully on a leash and is house-trained. He sleeps in his crate at night. Approximately 40 pounds, full-grown, fully vetted. Responds to basic commands such as sit, down, and wait (stay). He would come with his own crate, bed, treats, & toys. He has had a Wisdom Panel completed so we know his breeds include 25% American Staffordshire Terrier, 12.5% Boxer, 12.5% Great Pyrenees, and 50% other breed groups (Terrier, Sporting, & Hound).

Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home. Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email pets@anewleash.org and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency.
