Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 16800!This is a vintage stainless steel Rolex Submariner ref. 16800 with 93150 Oyster bracelet with flip-lock clasp. The watch features a striking "tropical spider" dial! We did not get the original box/papers with the watch.The watch has been worn, the case shows scratches/dings/wear - see photos. The back of the lugs show wear from the bracelet. The crystal and bezel insert show scuffs/scratches, and the pearl is broken. The finish on the dial shows some fascinating "spider webbing" in the clear coat. The hands have corrosion/spotting. See photos for condition.The bracelet shows stretch from wear, and the watch will currently fit a 7" wrist. We did not receive any additional links with the watch.The "J2" date code on the clasp matches the 8807XXX production run of the serial number, both dating to early/mid 1985.The cal. 3035 automatic movement is working, however it the watch is going to need serviced. It will wind/set properly, but there appears to be some rust on the stem and that's causing it to be difficult to wind/set smoothly.
