My story
A ball of spudtacular!Hey guys! I am Potato and I am a 2 year old, spayed female Terrier mix, weighing about 40 lbs. I was rescued from TJ and we learnt that I am a Distemper survivor. I have a twitch in my body and my coordination does not make me a great athlete. ;) Stairs are not my friend and I sometimes need a helping paw to climb up or down. But fret not, cuz your girl still gets her zoomies and playfulness! Dont mind the klutz, it's just a part of my pawsonality. I have been a great foster kiddo and picked up good bathroom and leash manners already. I am working on crate training. I am a sweet, friendly gal and people love me and I love them! I have been good with a few kids that I have met too. Cats? We are besties at home! I am still working on social behavior with dogs and get a bit nervous when they rush me or bark at me. But with slow intros, I am feeling curious and confident. I am a mellow kind of gal and couch-potato is actually my full name! Snuggles and belly rubs, and I am baked happy! I have a few spurts of energy during the day & then I like to relax on my dog bed or the couch! Some of my favorite things to do are sprinting in the tennis courts & chewing on a good dog treat. I also enjoy going on walks in new places & easy hikes! But my absolute favorite is enjoying a comfy place for a nap, with my kittie pals. Nothing too starchy, right? My foster mama says that I’m a total sweetheart and pawfect for a family wanting a calm girl. I’m a silly goofball that will make your heart melt. I would do well in lots of forever homes. I’m easy going and do well with cats & people in general. I would do well in a home with minimal stairs & you may need to pick me up sometimes. But due to my amazing nature, you can take me just about anywhere, & I’ll be a good girl! If you think we can be a family together, let's meet up. My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1495453##
