My story

　　04/15/23 This ball of energy is Poseiden! Poseiden was described as being outgoing and friendly, and the animal tenders have noticed he LOVES to talk! His previous owner said Poseiden loves to run and will do so until his feet bleed, so he would probably love a secure, grassy backyard to romp around in. Poseiden is said to be kennel trained, but his previous owner did not mention if he is housebroken at all, so potential adopters should be prepared to help him learn the ropes. He would highly benefit from an obedience class with a certified trainer to help him learn some manners, as he does tend to jump on people, counters and get into the garbage. Poseiden does have a head start and already knows `sit,` `lay down,` and `chin!` Poseiden was said to be curious about babies, children and strangers. He can be rough when playing, so please use caution if introducing him to little ones. Poseiden was described as not being interested in other animals, so maybe he is more of a people kind of dog. Please do any introductions to other animals in a slow, controlled manner to allow for the best possible outcome. poseiden does have environmental allergies, so his new family should be prepared to discuss this with their vet. He was previously seen for these allergies and responded well to medication that can be quite costly. If left unaddressed, these allergies can result in skin or ear infections that will significantly impact his quality of life. Poseiden's knowledge of the `chin command will come in handy when administering medications. He is very easily excited and wears his emotions on his face, turning pink when he gets riled up!
