My story

　　He鈥檒l be your chunk of love!Hello there!聽 My name is Porter, and I鈥檓 a 3-year-old neutered Terrier mix.聽 I鈥檓 a big boy, weighing in at 70 pounds.聽Since being rescued by TAP, I鈥檝e been hanging with my foster mama and living life to the fullest.聽 I was relinquished by my former owner after her boyfriend didn鈥檛 like that I was a gift from her ex 鈥 can you believe that?! It鈥檚 okay, though 鈥 I have a glass-full mentality and truly believe the best is yet to come!聽I鈥檓 a lazy, big chunk of a boy, who loves to snuggle, lay in the sun, and roll around in the grass.聽 I am mellow most of the time, but I do have periods of energy from time to time.聽 (I absolutely love chasing and catching flies in the house!) I also LOVE people and enjoy smothering them with kisses and following them around from room to room.聽 My foster mama says that I鈥檓 also the biggest bed hog!With other doggies, I鈥檓 a lover not a fighter. I love to play and wrestle with my foster sister, but I鈥檇 prefer a slow introduction with all other doggie friends.聽 I鈥檝e never been around kitties before, but I think I鈥檇 do great with kids since I love hoomans so much.聽 I鈥檓 potty-trained and house-trained already, but I鈥檓 currently working on walking on a leash.聽 I pull pretty hard 鈥 so hard that I exhaust myself on walks 鈥 so I鈥檒l need some training in that area.聽 I鈥檓 also working on my prey drive.聽 I become very alert when there is another dog around or I hear barking near me.聽My ideal household would be, well, anywhere!聽 I鈥檓 very mellow and have mild separation anxiety, and would prefer company during the day, but I think I鈥檇 be okay on my own for several hours.聽 If I did have a doggie sibling, I鈥檇 prefer a younger, female dog.聽My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
