My story

　　Get a much-needed pick-me-up with Poppy!Hi there! My name is Poppy, and I’m an 8-month, 11-pound Chihuahua mix. I’m a sassy and energetic girl who is always down for a good time! I love cuddles, playing fetch, hiking, sun-bathing, and chilling in the car while taking random joyrides. My foster mama says I’m the cutest puppy who has so much love to give. I can also make you laugh, even when you didn’t know you needed a pick-me-up!I’m already spayed and am fully potty-trained and crate-trained. I am working hard on my leash training – since I have a tendency to pull while walking – but have been making great progress. As far as my health goes, I’m a proud distemper survivor but am currently as healthy as can be!My ideal furever family would be one who loves to be loved! Since I love humans so much, I’d prefer to have some company during the day, as I have some mild separation anxiety and don’t like being left completely alone. I love other doggies, too, and would really enjoy some canine siblings to play with. I’m not sure about kitties or children, though, since I’ve never been around them. All in all, I have lots of love to give, and I can’t wait to be your new best friend. My adoption fee is $500 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
