Poppy's story

　　Poppy, l ike the flower she is named for, POPPY is Bright, Active, Bold and Independent. She has a mischievous energy about her, yet remains sweet and affectionate. She loves playing with her adult Mama from whom she inherited the most soulful eyes. She is a confident, secure puppy, well-socialized and a loving companion. Its as if she knows how important these photos are---just look at her pose. See, we told you she is intelligent! And oh-so-beautiful!! In answer to your wonderings, Poppys mama is even tempered, easy going, sweet. Mama is 18tall and weighs a solid 45 lbs. Poppy was nursed naturally and weaned completely by her Mama in an affectionate & family-friendly foster home with all of her litter mates.

　　Estimated birthday is 8/24/2018. There are 7 girls and 1 boy. They are all doing great. They had their own Facebook page and many followers following their journey of growing up in one of EAPL's loving foster homes. "Wild About Willow + 8" Their mom Willow is, best guess, a heeler / shepherd mix --- we are also taking guesses and there have been a lot! Basenji was even one of the breeds that someone thought might be in her. We do not know for sure... We just know that she has an amazing temperament and she has been a sweet, attentive mom to her babies and a wonderful house guest to her foster and their dogs!
