Poodle - Mabel - Small - Adult - Female - Dog

　　Mabel is a female miniature Poodle approximately 5 years of age. She is a small little girl, weighing in at only 10 pounds. Mabel has soft, ivory curls that are non-shedding and hypoallergenic. She is easy to care for and maintain. Mabel is a wonderful companion and faithful friend. She is very loyal to those she knows and will stick close by your side when meeting new people. Mabel is shyly friendly and has a sweet, sensitive little heart. She greets company with a wag of her tail and is content to stay in the background observing the activity. Mabel is very good with other dogs and enjoys gentle play with dogs her own size. She is darling in her play, sharing a toy with a mellow game of tug of war, or gently wrestling in the nearest doggie bed. She would probably enjoy the company of another gentle dog her size because she is social and sweetly playful by nature. Mabel can be silly and amusing when she is comfortable in her environment. Mabel is also very good with cats and with children and knows how to walk on leash. She is as sweet and as precious as they come. Mabel was rescued from a very high kill shelter where she arrived stray in one of the worst cases of neglect we have ever seen. Mabel was so matted and filthy that she could not see through her fur or walk on the balls of mats that covered her feet. She hovered in the corner of her cement kennel shaking. Once groomed, we realized that Mabel also could not use her back leg. We discovered she had an old fracture in her hip area (likely caused by being hit by a car) which was left untreated literally for years. Mabel has since undergone a successful surgery and is regaining use of her leg. She is expected to make a full recovery. Mabel is a happy girl now that she is no longer in pain. During her veterinary evaluation, we also discovered Mabel has hypothyroidism which is easily and completely treatable with inexpensive daily thyroid pills. We have seen a dramatic difference her already now that she is receiving proper care. She has become so healthy and animated. We have had Mabel for several months, so we know her lovely little personality very well and we know she will make a wonderful pet. She is excellent inside the home and a joy to have around. Mabel is ready for her new future and forever home today! She is a little sweetie and we guarantee she will steal your heart.

　　Mabel?s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
