　　More Info: This is Dr. Pepper - he is a wonderful wonderful wonderful pony. He rides great. Dez did a good job with him and he is ready for his new lifelong home. He is a fun pony that loves to be ridden. He would be great for kids but I think he would be even better for a smaller woman that wants a nice trail horse. A 7 yr old POA gelding - once starved living in a dog kennel - now riding and healthy at Blue Ridge Rescue - He is available for adoption. Pepper is riding great, w/t/c and riding inside and outside, he's been riding outside of the arena, no issues. A really friendly pony. Pepper is in training right now and will be available in August for adoption. Please check back for updated pictures and videos!!! PEPPER WAS RESCUED ALONG WITH LAZERUS AND A BABY LAMB FROM STARVATION AND NEGLECT. HE WAS FORCED TO LIVE IN A DOG KENNEL WITH NO ROOF IN THE MUD WITH NO FOOD OR WATER. WE ARE COLLECTING DONATIONS FOR HIS COSTS. HE WAS SEIZED AND BRR RESCUED HIM. ALL DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED. 　　Adoption Fee: $1200

　　Adoption fee will be going to rehabilitate, care for and rescue more neglected or unwanted equines. All adoption fees are non-profit. Please contact Blue Ridge Horse Rescue - serious adopters only. Please note that the adoption fees are what make it possible for us to continue to rescue and care for these horses.

　　Our adoption fees are more because we train our rescues so they have a strong foundation. We try to make them as safe as possible and ready for their new home.

　　*When we say kid safe we leave this up to the parent to determine their child's riding/horse experience level. We let our child ride/work with them under supervision. Every child and rider is different. Our child safe rescues are safe enough for 4-H kids but that doesn't mean that they can't be adopted for younger children - please do what is safe for your child. If we put kid safe that means that we feel confident with children catching, leading, bathing, and being all around (and/or sitting on). We always recommend adult supervision for children under 18 years of age.
