Meet Midnight, a two year old male Pomeranian mix. Midnight has a solid black coat and is shown here with a puppy cut. His coat will get fluffy and longer so grooming will be necessary for this dog to keep his coat looking good. Midnight is small, weighing 15 pounds and this is full grown. He was turned into our local animal shelter by his owner because he was "destructive inside" and this could be for several reasons: separation anxiety, boredom, not exercised, not crated, etc. Midnight is a very sweet, loving little fellow who has really come to life since we pulled him out. He was very shy and scared at the shelter. Now he is happy, playful and much more energetic.
Midnight is a little shy at first but once he is comfortable, he shows his fun personality. Midnight would be fine in an apartment as long as he gets daily walks. A tired dog is a good dog and that could be why he had issues when left alone. We would advise crating him when you are gone to avoid any problems. Midnight would do best in a home with no kids. He seems to be fine with other dogs. We have started him on his crate training. He is up to date on his vet care, neutered and is heartworm negative. Midnight is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We know Midnight is a good boy and just needs the right person who will give him the TLC he craves.
