My story

　　FOSTER NEEDED!!!! Polly is a 5-year-old female Beagle mix who has already been spayed.  Special needs has been indicated on her bio because--although highly adoptable, she has unfortunately tested positive for heart worms.  Polly will need to be in a foster home while she is having heart worm treatments.  Her foster will need to be for about 6 weeks.  PAHS will pay for the treatments and provide everything you would need for her--food, bedding, crate, etc.  If you are interested in fostering this gorgeous girl please call our staff between 11-4; Monday-Saturday, at .  Now--more about Polly--she was found has a stray and brought in by Animal Control; and her owner never reclaimed her.  She has a beautiful tri-color coat; and she is a 'long legged' Beagle.  Polly weighs about 24 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized dog.  She is friendly, sweet, and would be fine in a home with other dogs and children.  Polly is leash trained and although she is active she is well behaved.  If you think you would like to help Polly out by fostering her please contact our staff  by calling

　　Monday-Saturday between 11-4.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
