Poe's story

　　Meet Poe! Poe was brought to DHA from another shelter. He originally came from a hoarding situation and has been in the shelter system for more than eight months. Poe is a little shy at first. He is curious and loves attention, and he is learning to overcome his nerves and ask for it. Poe is in one of our free-roaming rooms and being with the other cats has really brought out the best in him. He has such loving eyes and a hopeful spirit and will be a loyal companion to those who give him a chance. Perhaps that person is you?

　　Poe is great with other cats and would probably do best with a feline companion. We are not yet sure how he is with dogs or kids. As we get to know him better, we will let you know.
