Please go to our website at to find out more about this pet and to submit an adoption application. Please DO NOT call or email us; all information about current dogs available, adoption donations, vetting, and this specific dog are on our website. We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have. Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Health Notes | Ford is healthy and happy and thriving! He has a great appetite and a snuggly demeanor. He is little bit of a chunk, in all the best ways. He knows to go potty outside because he is a smart lil dude. He uses his voice to tell us what he needs ad we love him dearly.Other Dogs | Ford is great with our doggos. He is a little bit shy, and a tiny bit fearful of loud noises. He is playful with our two big fur boys and is finding his confidence. He tumbles and jumps about with his foster fur brothers, and loves to explore smells. Cats | N/AChildren | Ford is good with children and matches their energy! He is active for playtime and 100% down for cuddle time. He is good around children running and jumping, and loud noises. Training | Ford is a smarty! He knows to go potty outside. He figured out his food ball with ease. And, he is excellent at communicating his needs. Kennel jumps and little whines mean potty time. Licking/nibbling fingers means hunger first, and then nap time is coming. Leash | Activity Level | Ford is the snuggle monster king of tug! He is active, exploring his play kennel and smelling all the smells. He is adventurous in our backyard, and growing more fearless every day! He loves to have someone near him to snuggle but also is super good with solo playtime (see video below of solo playtime). He chews toys and jousts with his sister. Ford tumbles and runs and jumps, which is a cuteness overlaod. He is such a sweet little baby doggo. Personality | Ford is a dear heart baby doggo, fur bebe honey love muffin. He LOVES hoomans! He is the ultimate sidekick- faithful and brave, and a little shy. Ford loves to chew on human hoodie strings and rest his chin on hooman shoulders. If you say "ow" as Ford puppy nibbles your finger he looks at you with genuine concern. He is becoming quite the dog toy aficionado. Ford has a wiggle in his walk and his ears. He is an adorably cheerful lil ball of yellow sunshine that is sure to put a smile on your face.Story | Ford is a member of the Texas 12. He was born in December 2021 in Texas. His fierce mama protected him and his 11 siblings, kept them safe until they were rescued by a local shelter. The shelter reached out to Mile High Lab Rescue, and the puppies were flown to Colorado because the team at Mile High is the best ever. His mama ran away before she could board the plane keeping her babies protected until they reached safety. Ford is the most enduring foster doggo chunk of goodness. He is going to be your best friend for life. Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $375 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $325 for 1-6 years, $275 for dogs 7-10 years, and $125 for 11+ years of age. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $500 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.
