Pluto's story

　　Pluto is an 8 month old (estimated bd 1/28/2018) shepherd mix with a lots of spirit and energy. He's a sweet boy who's never had a real home so he's still learning how to be a dog. He's very smart and is learning his basic commands very quickly, and is learning that a crate can be a wonderful thing (a Kong full of treats helps). Pluto loves to wrestle and go for walks and he'll make a great hiking companion. When it's time to chill out, he loves a spot in the shade but is always ready to play. He loves to be outside in the yard and would do well in a home with another dog to show him the ropes and help him see what a happy home can be. He's good with cats and kids, too! Pluto can be timid in a new situation but he warms up quickly when it becomes clear that all is well. He wants to taste everything but is eager to please and is happy to put down the postcard he ran off with as soon as you tell him it's not his. Pluto is settling in great in his foster home! He and his foster fur friend Juno are getting along fabulously. They've been for 2 long walks together and have had several epic run/wrestle sessions in the yard and are perfectly matched for fun times... lol So it will be nice for him to have a new friend in his forever home.
