My story
Pluto was recently returned to the rescue for fear biting, but all he needs is a little time, patience, and understanding to warm up to new experiences and people.
Once he has a chance to bond with someone, he becomes a playful and affectionate companion who loves nothing more than chasing after a ball and running around in the sun. Pluto is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all of his vaccines, and potty trained so he is ready to find a family who will work with him and help him overcome his fears. He may need a little extra care and attention, but the love and loyalty he will give in return will be more than worth it. If you are willing to give Pluto a chance, he will be a faithful companion for life. So please consider opening your heart and your home to this sweet boy, and give him the loving family he deserves. Together, you can create a safe and happy home for Pluto, where he can feel loved and secure, and never have to be afraid again.

Thank you so much for looking into wags and whiskers for your next family member.
All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over a year old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.
Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. We ask that only serious and committed adopters apply as these dogs have suffered enough.
If you are interested in meeting this pet please apply to adopt at

if the pet is still available for adoption and you are approved to adopt we will contact you.
Calling and checking the status of your application will not increase your chances of adoption
