Plott Hound - Howie - Medium - Young - Male - Dog

　　Foster Update July 2012: HOWIE is doing very well in our house and he is kennel trained and house trained. He gets along with other dogs and cats very well. He's great with kids and loves to play. HOWIE will play fetch for hours if someone will throw the toy for hours! HOWIE is very sweet and loves to give kisses and be close to people. HOWIE is good a leash and loves his trips to the dog park. He also enjoys trying to catch flies! We cannot say it enough but he is VERY sweet and lovable. He also has a fun and goofy personality that is sure to put a smile on anyones face!

　　Foster Update Mar. 2012: HOWIE is a very sweet boy, he loves to give kisses and puppy hugs. He has a unique bark that makes him fun to watch and play with. He doesn't chew on things and he has had no accidents in the house. He likes to play tug of war with our 2 year old dog Sophie and they like to wrestle also. HOWIE is also good with our 7 year old son and our 15 year old cat. He walks pretty well on a leash and is an awesome car rider. We took him and our other 2 dogs to the Mobile Dog Park and he loved running through the open space and seeing other dogs. He was a bit of a ham when he saw other people too! He sleeps on his spot on the couch or on a blanket by the bed at night. HOWIE is super friendly and listens pretty well for his age. He also knows "sit". HOWIE does have the fast eating is a trait of the Plott Hound breed and we are currently working with him to slow down when he eats, but with some time he will get that down too. He's put on some weight too which is good and he is looking very healthy and happy! HOWIE has a beautiful brindle coat and his "brown highlights" shine in the sun. We are happy to have HOWIE in our family and hope he finds his furever home soon!

　　HOWIE appears to be a male Plott Hound and is approximately 6 months old (Mar. 3, 2012). HOWIE is a happy, playful, friendly and laid back boy! He adores playtime, his stuffed toys and his treats.
