We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have.Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Sunshine, sweet licks & badass cuddles...! that sums up Lita!  This is girl is sugar and spice. Our bebe g is a lovebug. Eating like a champ. She is pooping outside twice a day with no issues. She LOVES treats and frozen kongs. Other Dogs | Lita is great with our doggos. A tiny bit fearful at loud noises, all puppy business. Playful with our two big fur boys and ready to explore. Her lil pounce is just about the cutest darn thing I have ever experienced, like living with a silky tiger cub baby face. Cats | N/AChildren | N/ATraining |  Lita is fully kennel trained and sleeps through the night with a blanket over the kennel so that she has a safe little cave! That's right, y'll. Lita is the labbie jackpot! No commands yet, but Lita is a superstar and will surely pick up the basics with ease. She has great recall to her name. We are starting to train a sit, going real slow and steady. Leash | Activity Level | Lita is an adventurer! She is fearless and brave and also gives a fantastic snuggle. She is exploring our yard. Lita is interested in the world around her and all the sounds. She is aware and perky! She chases and plays with her cuddly unicorn plush. She loves music. She is just the cutest, spry little bounder. As she settles in she is playing well alone in her play kennel and also playing well with her fur brothers in the living room. Personality | Lita! What a doll. This puppy is sunshine and sweet licks. She smells like baby doggo heaven. When you call her name she smiles because she is the absolute best. This puppy stole our hearts. She is such a bold lil lady with so much love. She is finding her voice and she is super intuitive. This bebe doggo is smart and solves problems for herself with ease. Lita LOVES belly rubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She jumps and runs and tumbles. Her bro follows her lead because she is a badass cuddle monster. She is a real treasure. Lita is ready to take on the world and waiting for you to come into your supporting role! Story | Lita is the starlet of the Texas 12. She was born in December 2021 in Texas. Her fierce mama protected her and her 11 siblings, kept them safe until they were rescued by a local shelter. The shelter reached out to Mile High Lab Mission, and the puppies were flown to Colorado because the team at Mile High is the best ever. Her mama ran away before she could board the plane keeping her babies protected until they reached safety. Lita takes after he mama, fierce and bold and brave. She is a gem. Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $375 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $325 for 1-6 years, $275 for dogs 7-10 years, and $125 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $425. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $500 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only.  To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
