My story
This tiny ball of big heart!Pixie is an itty bitty, 5 lb, female chihuahua and is about 3 years old. She was found as a stray when a baby and survived on scraps by strangers and a box bed. TAP wants to give her a life that she deserves for all that love in her heart. She has been spayed and is working to develop good bathroom and leash manners. She still gets scared to walk on a leash but she is so light and her foster mom just picks her up when she objects. This tiny bubble of love is very friendly with other dogs and people. She prefers dogs her size and Chi friends would be nice to have. She is quite fragile, so older kids who can handle a tiny dog will be good for her. She is super sweet and a very submissive kind of dog. there is no nipping or barking at anyone from her. She nibbles at her foster mom's hands in an affectionate manner and is working on positive reinforcement. She has obviously been through scary times in the past but is determined to resolve the apprehension. She is a kisser, cuddler and really enjoys getting lost under the blankets!Pixie is a wee little company and will do great in a gentle home without roughhousing. She does enjoy being around small dogs and is more of an indoor dog than a yard one. Someone being home would be nice, although she is good at entertaining herself! This pet's adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots and microchip. If you want to take this pet home, please fill out the form on the website here /adopt-today##474891##
