　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This beautiful lady is Linx, a brown tabby short-haired female adult with a Pixie-Bob tail. She's a young adult, between 2-4 years old. Linx is a gentle, friendly and more low-energy type of girl. She has a cataract in her eye, which she's likely had for a little while now from an infection or injury, and she cannot see much or at all out of that eye. 　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
