　　Kain is a VERY good boy. He is an obedience school graduate who follows commands such as "sit", "stay", "come", "shake", "kennel", and "down". He absolutely loves to play fetch, from long-distance games in the yard or park to catching stuffed toys tossed into the air indoors. Kain gets along well with cats and other dogs of all sizes. He has a very calm temperament, doesn't jump, and is just generally well-behaved. If you're looking for a dog to share your active lifestyle, Kain could be the dog for you! He is 5-years-old, up to date on vaccinations, and thanks to the generosity of Friends of Rescue, ANTECH Diagnostics, and Countryside Veterinary Hospital, he is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. He will be heartworm-free and ready for adoption in a few weeks, but he is ready to start looking for his forever home now! 　　2) Make sure to mention Animal ID # when visiting or calling.

　　3) Remember all adoptions stop 30 minutes prior to closing time.

　　4) I cannot be shipped to you.

　　**IMPORTANT: Huntsville Animal Services can not guarantee that I will still be available for adoption as we do not hold animals for anyone under any circumstances. Animals are adopted on a first come, first served basis. You may want to call and ask if I am still available prior to visiting the shelter. When you adopt me, I will stay at the shelter and be taken to the veterinarian of your choice where I will be spayed or neutered before going to my new home. If I am already spayed or neutered, I can go home with you upon adoption. My adoption cost is very affordable and includes my adoption fee, spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, license (if you live within Huntsville city limits), a collar and personalized ID tag.
