Pit Bull Terrier - June - Large - Adult - Female - Dog

　　Hi! I'm June! I'm a 5 year old brown Sharpei Mix, about 50 lbs (if you MUST know), and I'm looking for true love! Let me tell you why I'm awesome and you can play cupid for me and share this with all your friends so we can find me a forever home, ok?! I'm super sweet, love affection, cuddles and belly rubs but I only give kisses if you want them! I love to take it easy in my kennel and even though I'd love to snuggle with you in your bed I'm good at sleeping through the night in my kennel without making a fuss. I'm totally mellow but I love love love going on hikes! My foster mommy even let's me go off leash with the rest of the pack and I just chase my puppy buddies and stay close to my people. Sometimes I get distracted and trot behind different people jogging or riding bikes by us but that's just because they could be "the one" I've been looking for! If you jog I'm your girl! I love to run by your side and just check in with you so you know I'm following your lead! I LOVE FOOD! So if there's a trick you want me to know just show me the cookies and I'm your girl! Foster mommy already showed me "Touch" and "Sit" with the clicker and we're working on "Down" and every time I hear the clicker I rush to work! Some people thought I couldn't learn tricks because I look different but past trauma is in the past and I think they were just jealous of how smart and cute I am:) I know what you're thinking! "Can there really be such a perfect dog like June claims to be?" Well, yeah! I do have a few quirks that have prolonged my search for true love but I'll let you be the judge of whether these things are really worth being called "imperfections". I get excited and jump on occasion so my excitement level could be too much for kids under 10. I can't help it but I can keep it in check if you insist! I am a dog but that doesn't mean I love all dogs... I've been called bossy in the yard but jeez! Somebody has to keep these youngins in line! I'm more on the assertive side but I love my people most so if they say enough I listen and come to them for pets and reassurance that I'm a good girl. They say I might be dog selective but honestly my foster brother and me are both dominant and we worked it out with foster mommy and something she calls "firm guidance". If you can be the boss so I don't have to then all there really is left to talk about is my cute quirks. I love to "borrow" foster mom's slippers and stash them in my kennel. I'm a collector! I can't help it. I don't destroy anything though, I just keep them safe with me so no big deal. I'll happily swap them out for a toy anyways!
