Pistol Pete's story

　　This is Pistol Pete. He is an older guy, maybe 8 or 9 years old. Our best guess is that this little guy was turned in to the shelter because his owner, who obviously loved him very much, went to a senior care facility. Pistol Pete wants nothing more in life than to be right next to his person. He is a very low maintenance dog. He lets you know when he wants to go out. He has a round little belly from too much love in the form of calories, but he has slimmed down some and become more active in the last few weeks. However, active is relative. Pistol Pete is mostly a snuggly couch potato. This little guy is nothing but love in doggie form. He is the perfect companion. Pistol Pete is in a home with other dogs and cats, but is more interested in people. He doesnt interact much with the other dogs, and he doesnt pay any attention to the cats. Pistol Pete is heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is fostered in Huntsville, AL, and he looks forward to hearing from you!
