Pippa's story
Pippa is a sweet little girl who came to LAWS during the large cat rescue last Fall. She and her two brothers were the three kittens caught just in time.
Pippa is a fun kitten- very social, talkative, playful, and affectionate. She loves to play with her siblings, she loves all kinds of toys, and she loves scratching posts. She is also very curious and that can lead to exploring areas she probably shouldnt, like the kitchen counter. But that problem is easily solved with a spray bottle filled with water.
Pippa loves teenagers and likes to snuggle, knead with her paws, and purr loudly. She prefers the extra soft plush blankets and plenty of sunshine when she has decided its nap time. Pippa is fairly independent and does things on her own terms. If she doesnt like something or it doesnt fit her schedule, she will tell you all about it. Initially, if she didnt want attention she would grab our hands. When that occurred we removed our hands, said no bite, and gave her a toy instead. That method works really well and has taught her that we respect her boundaries and are trustworthy. She in turn seeks attention and is very loving, particularly when she isnt in play mode.
Pippa has soft fur and a unique cowlick on her back near her tail. Her slightly crossed eyes are gorgeous and make her all the more endearing. She does really well with other cats, kittens, and dogs.
Pippa came from a rough start, but is blossoming into a wonderful cat and she deserves a fantastic forever home!
