My story

　　Pinto is approximately a 1-year-old male. His breed is a mystery, but he does resemble the size and shape of a basset hound minus the floppy ears and having longer fur. Pinto came to us with his 4 siblings, and from a background where he did not get much socialization with new animals or people. He tends to shy away and bark at strangers but once he is comfortable, he is a very sweet and playful boy. It does not take long for him to warm up. He will take time to adjust to any new setting. Pinto has tested well with dogs and may adjust to his new setting faster if there are dogs already living in the home. due to his level of socialization, he may not be the best for younger children but may be okay with older kids who have had experience with rescue pets.
