Pinky's story

　　Hello there,

　　My name is Pinky and I have gone through a lot of change in the past couple months. My original owner adopted me as a kitten and I was so excited to go to a home! Unfortunately she wasn't a very nice lady to me. I actually was very scared of her because she would get mad at me and treat me badly. Thankfully a family member contacted DAR to get me into a better situation. She was always nice to me, but due to me being untrusting I still swiped at them and was scared!

　　A lot has changed since I came to DAR. I've learned that not all people are bad and actually my foster family taught me how to love again! It took me a little bit of time to realize what was going on, but I finally put it together that these people were here to love me. I couldn't be a luckier girl! I love getting pets now and am even in a foster home with other cats. I do once in a while remember the bad times and get spooked, so young kids aren't my cup of tea. I just want a home that will love me like I should've been loved since I was a kitten and I will love you back!
