My story
Pinky was rescued with her sister Dot, and would love a home where she and Dot could stay together. Pinky & Dot do well with other cats once there's time to adjust. Pinky is the high-energy, trouble-making, irresponsible little sister. She started off shy but has really blossomed while in foster care. She is now a demanding, treat-oriented, vocal, explorative little miss.
Like Dot, Pinky is not a huge fan of being picked up or held, but can be counted on to join you on the sofa to watch TV, provided you have a cuddly blanky for her. She loves to play, and will play with you, Dot, random things she finds on the ground, random things she imagines she sees, and other cats. If she can chase it or play tug of war with it, she's delighted. If she can bat at it and then eat it, even better!
Pinky will need time and patience to acclimate to new people and places and would likely do best in a quieter household, but once she's comfortable she is a delightful bouncing little ball of fun. Pinky tested positive for FIV, which may cause a weakening of a cat’s immune system. FIV+ cats can live normal, long, healthy and happy lives.
Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Our adoption application is on our website here: /adopt
