My story
If you are looking for a faithful companion, one who needs very little in the way of walks and just wants to hang out with you all the time...look no further! Pink is a young senior who has plenty of love and life yet to share. She is an energetic girl but doesn't need a lot of exercise. She just likes to hang out in the sun and roll on the grass and the floor and get loved on.Although she gets along OK with other dogs, Pink doesn't really care about them. And her enthusiastic energy can irritate some dogs. Also, her desire to be right with her person, which other dogs in the household may not appreciate. She is great with cats (see video) and kids too.Plnk was originally adopted as a puppy by a kind-hearted family who were afraid she would not make it out of the shelter because of her "special need." Pink is deaf, as are a disproportionate number of white dogs due to genetic anomalies. Pink has no idea that she is "special needs" as her life has always been just the way it is. We took in Pink from her original adopter when the family lost their home and she was not allowed to go with them to their new housing. A great rescue friend fostered and adopted Pink a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, due to family obligations, our friend had to move to a place that would not allow Pink - seems to be the story of her life! No problem, back to the rescue ranch she came. We are happy to have her but know she would prefer to be an "only child" or in a home with another easy-going dog. So we are really hoping her forever-to-the-end home finds her.Pink is spayed, current on vaccinations, tested negative for heart worm, and microchipped. To learn more about this dog and apply to adopt from our rescue, please email [email protected] fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTER CARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT.
