Hi! My name is Pidgey Pidge and I am a young, blind, feral pigeon who was found injured. A nice man took me in when the Rehab center near me was too full. He cared for me for many months. Palomacy is currently looking for available space to take care of my special needs in foster care. If anyone has the time, space and love to provide me, please consider fostering or adopting me so I can have the best quality of life possible. Blind pigeons can often lead very happy lives and adjust well to their life changing disability. A feral pigeon must get used to no longer being in the wild, as well as blindness, but this can be done. Where there is a will, there is a way! Keeping food and water in a consistent location, and providing low nesting areas and ramps are important. With a little patience and a lot of love, a special needs bird can be as rewarding for the adopter/fosterer as it is for the bird. Please apply to adopt /birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
