All cats with PUP are in private foster homes. We provide our potential adopters the most current information available. We prefer to place our kitties in homes with another kitty or a cat friendly dog.
Raising a kitten requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Pepper will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves.
Health: Pepper has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his vaccines and tested negative for Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). He has been wormed and flea treated.
History: Pepper comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs and cats PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.
Notes: Pepper is a very sweet and shy kitty. When Pepper came to us, he was a pretty scared kitty. He had his paw up. Not to say hi, but to swat if the hiss didn't do the trick. Hed then run away if anyone looked at him. Since then, he has come a long way and now sleeps between my feet with one paw on my leg sometimes. He allows being pet and will run away if not in the mood. He loves to play with chase-able toys. He hops on to get hold of it. If I was not imagining, he once bounced off the wall trying to chase the toy like a ninja. He loves treats and wet food which are key to his heart. He loves playing with his brother early in the morning by running from one end of the house to the other. When feeding, he puts his paw on your hand or the spoon for you to give him more. He is quite the character. As evident, he takes time to warm up to people. He will do best in a home with no children or the older kids that can be super patience to let him warm up on his terms.
Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the cat's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our cats, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
