My story

　　Pepper has been in foster, this is what the foster parent has to say about her: I have been fostering Pepper and her puppy for almost 6 weeks. She has really come a long way since we first got her. Pepper was extremely timid, untrustworthy and protective of her puppy. She only allowed me in her room to care for her and the puppy. The only time she would leave her room was to go bathroom outside. Even then, she would crouch down as low as she could and slowly make her way to the front lawn with her tail between her legs. Eventually, she started exploring more and even wanted to go for short walks. Pepper continues to be more comfortable with other people. She gets along great with my two residence dogs and foster puppies. They all play, wrestle and chase each other around. It`s great to see her quirky personality...she does not like squeaky toys, she loves to `bury` things under blankets or puppy pads and she`s a toy hoarder. I think with time and a patient and loving home, Pepper will continue to come out of her shell and make a great pet for someone.
