Pentax K1000 35mm SLR Camera Kit w/ 50mm or 55mm Lens - Very Good
We created these ready to shoot camera kits to make it easy for
people to get into photography. Each kit consists of the following:camera body and a lens as noted in the titlea camera strapbatteriesphone support for questions30-day return with prepaid shipping for a full refund90-day product warrantyMost of the film cameras we sell date back to the 70s and 80s. As lots of things can go wrong with a mechanical camera that is
typically 30-40 years ago, we take our time to check and restore all the functions.
Some of the typical tasks are:clean the camera body and make any necessary cosmetic repair/replacementcheck the shutter and meter to make sure they workcheck the self timer, if one is availablechange the seals and mirror damperlubricate all moving parts if necessarycheck the aperture follower for smooth operationscheck the preview functioncheck for squeals and repairWe
do our best to make sure our customers receive a fully functional and
cosmetically good looking camera. In the unlikely event something is
wrong, please just contact us so we will make things right for you.Attached
images are representative of the model but not necessary of the camera
you are buying. The kit lens could be either a Pentax 50mm f/1.7, 50mm f/2.0 lens or 55mm f/1.7 lens; either in Pentax-M or Pentax-A format. If you have a particular preference, please add a Message to Seller upon checkout, but before you pay, of the lens choice you prefer. We will comply if we have it in stock. Otherwise, it will be first available. The Pentax K1000 is essentially a stripped down version of the more capable Pentax KM. The body build and mechanisms are identical between the two models but the Pentax KM has the additional Preview as well as a Self Timer button. We could ship you a Pentax KM, instead of a K1000 body, if you request for one or if we are temporary out of the K1000. In general, we classify our inventory into GOOD and
VERY GOOD condition. Mechanically, they all work the same so the
difference is purely cosmetic. If you care a lot about the item
condition, we suggest you look at only ones in VERY GOOD condition.
They are our best looking inventory. Items in GOOD condition will have
more wear marks but nothing excessive.
