Penny's story
Pretty little Penny is a looking to be a world-class lap dog. This girl loves to be held. She's very sweet and playful. Penny is friendly with other dogs and cats. If you have a canine companion, the shelter staff can help with intros to make sure the dogs get along. Penny arrived at the shelter on transport from Dallas. Sadly she had a deformed leg that could not be saved. Penny is what we call a tripod (three legs) but she doesn't hold any grudges and having three legs doesn't slow her down. Penny would do best in a home with older children. Please come meet her to see if she would be a good fit for your family.
The best way to find your perfect match is to visit the shelter and meet the dog in person and speak with one of our adoption counselors. Adoption applications are only processed after you've met the dog. The shelter is open Wednesday thru Friday from 1 to 7pm and Saturday from noon to 5pm. Please visit / adoption-process for more information. Email adoptadog@faithfulfriends.
