Penny Lane's story
Hi, my name is Penny Lane. For the last six months, my foster family has been teaching me how to trust humans. I have learned to enjoy head scratches, play with squeaky toys, and cuddle in a big cozy bed. I have made friends with many other dogsand a couple of weird cats. But my foster family says that one day Ill have a forever home of my own. I cannot wait to meet my new family! I hope they are patient with me as I continue to learn. I hope they take me on walks and play fetch. And most of all, I hope they have a spot in their nice, warm bed for me at night. I would be their best, most loyal friend. I just need to feel safe and loved first.
Penny Lane is a 2
3 year-old, 12-pound, black-and-white terrier mix. She is still hand shy which leads us to believe she may have been abused early in her young life. She would do best in the home of an experienced dog owner, and would love to have some canine or feline siblings to play with. She is medium to high energy, but has a very submissive, sweet nature and craves attention and affection. She is also extremely smart and learns quickly.
Penny Lane is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and micro-chipped.
