Penny is a 2 year old Lab mixed with some hound because she has a gentle "Awooo" when she spots something extra exciting, like a crow. A recent mama to 12 adorable, healthy puppies, Penny is enjoying having her foster mom take over care of the puppies now that they can be weaned.

　　This Texas girl is LOVING our Colorado weather! She had a great time romping in the snow and enjoys a little time soaking in the sun. In the morning, Penny is sooo happy! She wiggles and wags and can't wait to start the day. She enjoys her meals, is attentive for treats, and is gently loving all the affection and attention she is getting. Penny is house trained, scratches at the door when wanting out, and back in, is non-destructive, enjoys a good chew toy, and is reluctant to get up on furniture, preferring to lounge and sleep on the floor, on blankets, or on dog beds. Preferring to be independent, Penny enjoys people and the company of other dogs but she is not clingy in the least.

　　This girl is just incredibly happy to be gaining weight, feeling good, enjoying wonderful Colorado weather, the company of other friendly dogs, and a foster mama who is showing her how good life really is
