　　Penny was found by a couple and soon realized that she didn't have an owner looking for her so they decided to foster her until Penny's new family comes along!

　　From Penny's Foster Mom -

　　Regarding her personality: 

　　Penny is the happiest dog! She smiles all of the time and her ears stick straight up when she sees gets excited. Penny loves to be around people and in their lap if possible! All she wants is to be loved/petted/scratched and have a person close by. She is very loyal and kid friendly. She loves to snuggle with her lovies (stuffed animals). She is an all around amazing dog that will make an excellent addition to any family of any size.

　　Regarding meeting new people and dogs: 

　　She has met our extended family, friends and delivery men. In this past month, she has ventured down the street and greeted many walkers and dogs on leashes. She loves everyone and seems curious and nonaggressive around both male and female dogs of all sizes.

　　Regarding cats: she g

　　ets really excited with cats, may accidentally hurt them if left alone to chase around. She is separated from our doodle and cat (both female) most of the day by a screen porch and Penny is always at the screen laying next to our cat or dog so I do think she could get used to not chasing a cat.

　　Save a Stray pets are in foster homes.  Please complete an application at  to make arrangements to meet our pets.  Out of state meet and greets are conducted via FaceTime.

　　This pet has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is on heartworm and flea prevention and has adoption fee of $175 (local) - $500 (depending on transport destination).
