She was born in 2001, making her 12 years old. Her coat is blonde with gray tips and white patches; she is elegant and fluffy. Verdie loves to snuggle and be in your lap. She gets along with other dogs and cats and kids. She loves short walks and to go for a car ride. She naps a lot and has energy in little bursts. Verdie is cheerful and happy and loves her squeaky toy. So quick and easy to bathe in the kitchen sink! You can attach her by leash to the front porch where she loves to sit in the sun. She also loves to curl up in her little dog bed in front of the fireplace. This is a quiet, older dog that is not much trouble. Her eyesight and hearing are not so good. Her first human went to hospital and couldnt care for Verdie anymore, so this sweet senior dog is looking for her forever home. Her adoption fee $75. All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog. We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog.
