My story

　　Our gorgeous girl Pearl is patiently waiting for her "just right" forever home. OK, she probably thinks that she is already there so she doesn't realize that she is patiently waiting. Her foster mom, on the other hand, is not so patient. Foster Mom just can't understand why someone hasn't fallen in love with this goofy, just-a-little-bit-crazy girl. She is fun and playful; loves to race around the yard and play keep away with her very favorite toy, an old piece of garden hose. Extra heavy duty hose is recommended as Pearl is a strong girl, being American Bulldog or Boxer or some kind of mix of one or the other. Pearl is a very confident girl and will sit right down in front of her person and look straight in the eyes. If she is ignored, she tries to scoot a little closer, gives a little bump, as if to say, "Helloooo, I'M RIGHT HERE!" She likes to meet new people although she can seem a bit protective at first. She is kind of rude about meeting new folks when she is in her kennel, super protective of that space and barks like a crazy girl. Get her out on leash, provide a controlled introduction involving treats, and she is new person's new best friend! OK, Pearl is kind of silly, in a very American Bulldog/Boxer way.We've known Pearl since she was about 6 months old when we rescued her from a local shelter. We adopted her out and then her adopter changed jobs and had to be out of town a lot. So back to us she came. And here she stays, "patiently" waiting, ha ha! Not us though, we want someone (YOU???) to give Pearl a chance to get more attention and not be just one of the pack.Pearl is spayed, current on vaccinations, tested negative for heart worm, and microchipped.To learn more about this dog and apply to adopt from our rescue, please email [email protected] fees range from $150-$250 for dogs.
