Hi there world, Im Peanut. I may be tiny, but I pack a punch
in the smarts department. So let me tell you how I got here. I seems like a long time ago, but who knows. All I remember is that I was much smaller at the time. When those terrific folks at M.A.I.N. found me I wasnt much bigger than a peanut (hence the name). I had a bad puppy disease call Strangles. Looks ugly, but with love, care and time, I got over it. And now Im ready for my forever home. So heres me: Im now 10 lbs of loving playful Chi/Italian greyhound (yep, I have really long legs to prove it). My foster Mom has been working on my manners with me so I know sit, off and go to bed. She even taught me the not-to-bark command! I have my own kennel, which I really like. We go on lots of walks and I do really well on a leash. You know what I really love? The dog park and other small dogs. Not so hot yet on big dogs, but with time who knows I have a cat here and some grandkids that I really like. Im still a puppy so Im in the middle of learning all my house training including the doggie door. I do like my toys and am a very playful and curious little guy with a lot of energy. I would love a home with kids, other pups or energetic grown-ups who love to go on long walks. Im finally bigger than a peanut now, but not much and am looking for my wonderful new forever home with you. -- Peanut
