Peanut is a 2 year old male chihuahua mix who is looking for his loving forever home. Peanut is a very friendly boy who loves the affection of his people, but can be a bit selective when picking a furry friend. Peanut would do best as the only dog in the home, but will coexist with the right dog. Peanut tends to be an alpha and is very protective of his food, so he needs to meet any other dogs in the home before adoption and would need to be fed separately. Peanut loves his people, especially women, and does well with older gentle children. Peanut is house broken, kennel trained, and doggy door trained. Peanut loves to play with toys, but mostly only stuffed squeaky toys. Peanut does not care for balls or ropes, this boy knows what he likes! Peanut is good in the car and likes to go for walks, which is good because Peanut needs all the exercise he can get. Peanut currently weighs 11 pounds, but his doctor says he is overweight and needs a diet and exercise. With monitored feedings and a few extra walks, Peanut will be in ship shape in no time! His adoption fee is $220. He is altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit.
