　　We originally purchased a crib/mattress pad from Babies R Us that fell apart in the washer prior to even putting on the toddler bed.

　　The PBK Mattress Pad was on the toddler bed for less than one month (during which our daughter wore her diaper every night); we specifically wanted waterproof because we thought we would be potty training soon... then within the month we found a twin bedroom set that we quickly purchased and set up and this pad went into the linen storage area of the nursery. There was no diaper leaks during the period that this pad was in use... I think we washed it twice - - once before putting on the toddler bed and once again before packing it away.
