　　He loves kids! He`s been around kids ages 3 years old and up. Met a bunch at a party recently and was gentle with them.

　　Is s/he fearful of any objects, situations, or people? (if so, describe)

　　Shadows at night scare him.

　　Is there anything else you`d like us to know about Payson?

　　WHIP SMART. Learns fast. Great house manners. Has never destroyed anything. Loves to ride in the car. Loves walks. Does great at parties. Is very affectionate. Quiet. Almost never barks.

　　Is he house trained?

　　Yes. Completely. Has never had an accident.

　　When left alone where does he sleep?

　　He sleeps in his crate at night. Is crate trained. Loves to sleep on the couch too.

　　Is he on any medications?

　　No

　　Payson says:

　　`Hi...My name is Payson and I am 3 years old. I am a large mixed breed Pit. My trainer thinks I may have some Sharpei in me as well as Bassett Hound. I weigh 80 some pounds, am mostly muscle. People say I am a `sweetheart`. I love being around people, especially women and kids, even lots of people with little children running around. Guys are alright too. I am pretty mellow. I sleep a lot. I like the couch, my large foam dog bed and my big pillow in my crate.

　　I have been living with my Foster Dad since November 20, 2018. We have been going to training because I am too enthusiastic, too strong. At times I can be a bit stubborn. Training has helped a lot. I am working on `sit`, `stay` and `lay down`, doing this reliably. My Foster Dad calls me `Payson, the Wonder Dog`. I am very smart. I hardly bark at all. I am fully house trained and you can leave me alone at home. I don`t get into anything, not even my dog food bag or the garbage. I like to go for walks, hikes. I LOVE to ride in the vehicle, wait there while you go shopping when it`s not too hot of course. I don`t jump around all hyper and impatient. I go for walks and do all my business twice a day, Morning and late afternoon, early evening. I have not been sick or anything since being here. I love to roll in the grass on my back and my horse grooming brush. I have very short fur, hardly shed at all and have cool markings.

　　Please help me find a home with someone young and stronger, maybe with a family that is willing to work with me. My owner was thinking I could be a great companion... and I am!`
