Patty's story
I have always depended on the kindness of strangers
Patty was found as a stray on NASNI near Navy Lodge. She had on an old worn collar that was too tight, so she obviously had belonged to someone and had been lost or abandoned for quite a while.
During her ordeal, the details of which we will never know, Patty had to depend on the kindness of strangers for food, water and safety. Still, she came to us pretty traumatized and was unsure about people getting too close. But she soon understood that everyone at the shelter was her friend and all we wanted to do was to help her and care for her. Once we discovered that she loves Party Mix, she melted and became our best feline friend!
Patty now loves pets and comes out of her cubby to say hello to visitors. She is a stunning looking cat with her thick coat and wonderful colors and markings. Patty is a quiet girl with a serious demeanor. But, we think she may become more carefree once she is in a loving home and builds even more trust and confidence.
Are you a cat savvy person who has room in your heart and home for this lovely girl? She will become your devoted feline companion and give you lots of unconditional love.
You can meet Patty at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Patty you must first come in and meet him. If it seems like a good match, the next step is to complete a cat adoption application. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or cat adoption applications may be completed online. A PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your application.
You can read about the adoption process on the Adoption Information page.
