My story

　　You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please review our Adoption Process before filling out an application.  If you would like to try a Foster to Adopt trial, please fill out an Adoption Application.

　　  Meet Patrick!Sweet Patrick was rescued along with Rainbow from an abandoned apartment back in early February. He and his friend (probably sister, Rainbow) are fairly skinny and need to catch up to what their size should be. Patrick is a bit of a scaredy cat with new things and changes. We don't blame him, as he went through a lot for such a young boy. He does curl up in your arms when you are petting and talking to him, but it will take a couple of days of being in new environments and around new people to trust that and realize that he is safe and ok. He is a handsome, brown tabby who seeks attention and LOVES his kitty toys. He may do best in a home without children, at least for now (this may change as he gets more comfortable around people - we don't know how long they were alone in the apartment) but he would love to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend.  Like all young kittens who are very cat oriented, he will be happier in a forever home with other cats in the home or an adopter looking to adopt a pair of feline friends. Adoption process:  Submit a cat adoption application online at ARWOB.org Once received, an adoption counselor will contact you via phone or email within 1-4 days of submission to finalize processing your application. If approved to adopt a meet and greet will be scheduled at our adoption center at which time if the meet goes well and you choose to move forward with the adoption our kitties are ready to go home the same day.  *Once you submit an adoption application online if the cat you select is no longer available or is not a match for you but you are interested in other cats there is NO need to resubmit an application, just request ARWOB transfers that application to another rescue cat you'd like to meet which we currently have available for adoption or if you see someone in the future you'd like to meet please contact the group and request to reactive your application.  Notes for applicants: -We do NOT place holds on rescues, please, do not submit an application unless you are READY to adopt MEOW.  -We require landlord approvals. if you rent, you should have written landlord approval before you apply to adopt a cat as we can't hold adoptions back or place hold on rescues.   -If you are not contacted by a volunteer within 4 days of submitting an application, please contact ARWOB via email to follow up on your application status, we typically cancel applications if there is no communication from both parties within a week and assume applicants are no longer interested.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application.
