Meet Patrick, 11 years young, rescued because of his previous owners neglect. He needed 2/3s of his tail surgically removed. We rarely have a cat that is an indoor/outdoor, however, despite best efforts, Patrick does need to be out for a couple of hours each day. Hes a homebody though and doesnt venture far from his yard. He loves to follow his fosters around, helping with gardening, yard work or any other activity where he can lend a hand. Hes just happy being with people. Patrick is friendly and does like to be pet but hed prefer to be an only cat. Because there are other animals in his foster home, we know his true personality is probably even sweeter, he just doesnt get many chances to show it. We also think that with no other animals around, he may very well not need/want to go outside anymore! Patrick needs an understanding person or family who will show him the patience and love he deserves. We're sure you'll be rewarded with a wonderful companion. If you'd like to give Patrick the loving home he deserves, please contact NVHS at
or email us at [email protected]. He would be an ideal companion for a senior, for whom our adoption fee is waived, and support provided through our Seniors for Seniors Program.
