Patches's story

　　Patches and Max are 6 year old Schnauzers who were brought into animal control to Chowchilla shelter by PD after a someone found their deceased relative in a home and the two dogs had been there at least a week. They were terrified when they were first brought in and hardly able to be handled. Took a few days to warm up then once they came to us they turned into very loving little dogs. However they do better apart than together and are choosy with the dogs they are with (could also have something to do with being kenneled as well)

　　Attached are also the before pics in the condition in which they came to us...just a matted mess. We had no clue they were really Schnauzers until the family member came to the shelter with paperwork on the dogs.

　　Now they are beautiful friendly and ready for their forever homes.

　　Shots up to date (DHPP) and Rabies, micro chipped, altered (spayed/neutered). We also now give one free vet visit with our local vet within first 3 days of adoption!!

　　Adoption cost for this dog is $200

　　We are a rescue, and although we have a facility in Modesto most of our dogs/pups are currently being fostered in or around our area. So please be willing to make the trip to see them if you are from out of the area. Our adoption process REQUIRES that an application must first be submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our pets. Just note that we may get several responses on one pet at a time so just because you have an approved application does not mean said pet is on hold for you. One must FIRST confirm an appointment to meet the pet after an approved application has been sent. To inquire about this specific pet, please write to [email protected] for an application. Please remember to put the pets name in the subject line when emailing, and on the top on the application. It helps us to help you that must faster. We are a group of volunteers, and ask that you please bare with us. We will get to each person just as quickly as we can.
