My story
Pat aka Patience aka Fiona was found with her brothers in a townhouse development being fed by a kind individual who could not take them in. It was right by where I live, so when I saw them running the streets, I stopped to offer our help.We caught them and took them to be vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinate for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and are negative for feline leukemia and FIV) and her brothers have been adopted- now it is her turn. She has been in foster home where she is being well taken care of but still is a little shy and does not like to be picked up yet-some cats never do.Below is a not from the foster:If you enjoy bird watching and plenty of personal space, Pat may be the cat for you. Pat takes a little while to warm up to new people, but leave her a few treats or pieces of boiled chicken and she'll start to open up. She loves sitting in the window to see the birds, napping in sunlight, and climbing up on her cat tree. While she is not particularly cuddly, she absolutely loves playing with feather toys. Pat is a wonderful roommate who keeps her space tidy and stays out of other people's things. Because Pat thrives in a quiet environment with a relatively set routine, she would be best in a home with no young children. She has not met any dogs, but she coexists well with her current foster kitten roommate.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pat aka Patience, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
