Hi! I am Parker.

　　I am a 13 year old, neutered male.

　　I came from an animal shelter where I was turned in when my owner died.

　　Parker is pretty laid back. He is a very good boy.

　　He just wants to be loved!

　　He gets along with other dogs, but mostly just keeps to himself.

　　He would do best as an only dog as he doesnt like to share attention.

　　He would be good with older kids however, cats are an unknown.

　　Parker is house broken. He holds it all night until he is let out in the morning.

　　He is average size, approximately 18 lbs.

　　He is already neutered, has had a dental, and is up to date on all his shots, is HW negative, and ready to go.

　　He will be your best friend from the start, if you just pet him.

　　He really just needs someone to give him attention. For an older guy, he has a lot of energy and no health issues except for some arthritis in his lower back.

　　He is on medicine for this stiffness and it does improve his mobility.

　　Parker was a very good boy to be groomed and bathed. I think because of his stiffness Parker does not get on the furniture and prefers a nice comfy doggie bed, although he would probably enjoy sleeping with his human if helped into the bed. We have a cat that is not very dog friendly so no dogs are allowed in kittys part of the house which includes the humans bed.

　　We have never tried Parker on a leash, except for vet visits, as he has a large fenced yard to roam and play in. He does pull on the leash, so a non-pull harness would be best for him.

　　All in all he is a very loving boy.

　　He does bark so apartment living might not be best for him.
